Week 9 recap!

Hey guys,

Week 9, the bye week for most of the teams in the NFC North, has proven to be a low scoring week.   But while overall scores were low, teams are becoming better as not one scored under 100.  That's pretty rare, and pretty good for such a large bye week.

Brady beat down Manning, Kaep fumbled to lose the week, and Big Ben tossed up 6 more TDs.  Phillip Rivers deserves a man of the week award, ending with a sweet -3 points, giving away as many turnovers as he has kids. Lets give it up for him:
Anyways, the season is weird and I have a headache so let's move on.

Power Rankings:

Rivalry of the Week:

Dog DontMind beats Full Metal Jacket 158 to 123

Not a whole lot of rivalries this week, so I take it back to one that has been in the brewing since 2007 (2008?) when Jared got a job at the Starbucks I worked at.  I knew immediately he was a cool dude, and since have worked with almost every single person in his family.  So in other words, I wanted to bring the Grubes shame by beating him mercilessly.  It didn't work that way, as everyone on his team managed to score a TD and even Kenny Britt showed up to have a party.

So in congratulations to him I say, hope you win your division, but I also hope Kenny Britt's arms fall off.

GAME OF THE WEEK:

Cobb Thomas loses to Ruckers Rip Some Lips 126-132.

The battle of the team with no RBs, versus the team with only WRs spurned by backup QBs was a good one this week.  In what was a close match-up between the Manning led, Hill manned team of Jake's and the 49er heavy team of Oscar's, the true hero was the man above.  The 400 year old, clutch kicker proved to be just that in fantasy as well, outscoring the other ancient man Wayne to put victory into the hands of those that Rip Lips.

Jake's team did remain in first place, and Oscar's team does stay out of the playoffs, but they're both one step closer to where they weren't before, and because of a kicker winning a matchup, this gets game of the week.

Instead of Predictions, LEAGUE COMMUNICATION:

In lieu of all the bollocks happening on the facebook page right now, I propose here we have a clear level-headed discussion.  I propose a few questions that I would like EVERYONE's input on.  This is your league, even though I am commissioner I only do it so we can all enjoy the game.  So, if you could please answer these in whatever method you'd like (be it text, facebook, ESPN, etc) I'd greatly appreciate it.

Question:  What would you like to see out of the option to veto trades?  When do you think it's a good idea, and how should we judge trades?

Thanks for reading guys, good luck week 10.
